BD: I posted this on the Running windows on a mac sticky but nobody helps me :/ and i need help..

i've a problem with the update. i'm running a fresh WVista x64 Sp1 installation, (before of this i installed bootcamp2.0 drivers that come with the leopard dvd) and then i install the macpro drivers, and then when i run the update to 2.1, it appears a windows that says 'windows is preparing the installation' (not in the exact words but you know what i mean), and then nothing happens.. it is just like this? or there is a problem?

you have to use the 64 bit version of bootcamp 2.0. probably used the 32 bit version.

i ran the 64bit edition of bootcamp 2.0 that comes with the MacPro drivers (btw, i have a MBP). Everything is fine 'til i try to install Bootcamp 2.1 and it doesn't work.. I think i should format and reinstall.

what doesn't work? make sure you use the proper 2.1 update. i think there are 3 (one for xp 32, vista 32, and one for vista 64)

also- the graphics will most likely be buggy upon applying the 2.1 update. uninstall the gpu drivers and use the ones from laptopvideo2go

my wi-fi doesn't work and bootcamp just doesn't seem to be 'updated'.. when i check the version of bootcamp it says just 2.0.1 and not '2.1.' as like it should be. and i'm using the vista64update
