Anyone here with week 30+ have problems with their macbooks? I went to a near by store and saw a white macbook with color problems. The palm area was nasty with yellow colors. Do you think when macbooks get their updates, it will repeat its problems that were on the macbooks right now from week 1?

It's surprising that you found one with a color problem, it's a bit rare now to find these days, however I believe anything before week 24 is suspectible to the color discoloration issue, and if you due get one that has this issue, Apple will replace the topcase of your notebook.

When the MacBooks get their updates, the problems should not happen again. Any revisions done by Apple is pretty much meant to show that all the bugs have been worked out, however I don't think just a small processer update such as merom would classify it as a revision. Most experienced Apple users wait for revision B before purchasing their Macs.

For what it's worth, I got my Macbook in the last week of September and it has absolutely no problems. I was under the impression the discoloration problem was fixed mid-August, maybe the demo machine in the store was older than that. My machine seems perfect so far. Decent temperature, no dead pixels, no whine, no moo.

euhm, I think (I'm sure) that the color is just dirt. I saw macbooks in stores which became dirty because everyone touches it with their dirty hands ;)
