What do you mean where? It's soldered on the logic board so it's not upgradable.

If you really want to know the specific location, the CPU is below the top of the keyboard slightly left of centre. I'm not sure why that's important to you though. -

i want to know because im considering building my own cooler so that i can route the air right where i need it and only cool what i need.

That's a bit ambitious. I would just buy a notebook cooler if I were you... they're not that expensive.

yea i know. but its not really for price, its just to say that i did it. i like things to be customized for me, by me. but later on i might just decide that im to lazy to drive to home depot to get what i need and buy one. depends on my daily mood.
