I have a white MacBook, with:

2.2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
    2 G's RAM
    Intel GMA 950 Graphics card

and I get 70-90 fps on urban terror.

My friend also just bought a white MacBook, with

2.0 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
    2 G's RAM
    Intel GMA x3100 Graphics card

and he gets 10-20 fps on urban terror.

..help? I know intel gma graphics series are crap but they run on well high memory (we both have 2 g's each)..how come his fps is SO bad?
i've heard the x3100 isn't as good as the 950 despite being newer?

    helpppp!

(urban terror is a q3-mod/standalone. i could get 20-40 fps on my 1.0 ghz G4..laugh)

It could be that the program saw his better hardware and moved up the graphics levels. Make sure you guys are playing on the same settings.

Make sure he has done a software update there might be new graphics drivers. Also try looking at the settings, there may be one setting in particular that greatly lowers frame rate. i.e Antialiasing may take a more fps out than other settings.
