I have recently installed an optibay and place a 7200 RPM HDD in the optibay and place a Vertex 2 240 in the original HDD caddy.

My issue is that my HDD continually ejects without warning. I just get the error stating the drive was not ejected properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Newfiejudd,

I don't know why is it causing this error, but I'd like to share my setup with you.

I have MBP 15 i7 and just installed a optibay caddy myself. The only difference is that I've put SSD in it, and hard drive remained in it's original place.

I have no problems with ejections etc. See if after a switch you'll see the same issue...
