so i was kinda waiting for dells new 13 inch xps to see how it would compare on pricing with the mac book

yeah a dell 13inch xps speced to a macbook is $1,519 and the only bonuses LED screen and a SSD hd are 150 extra and 600 extra, so just like i assumed the macbook on top of being a beautiful, and awesome machine still remains the BEST deal hardware wise.

haha now just wondering how im going to pay for this cash in a month of work a way to get it now financed haha

I'm in a similar situation, I was waiting for the price of the new XPS M1330. The one I spec'd was closer to the MBP retail price. I'm waiting til August to see if I'll choose the XPS M1330, MB, or MBP.

I'd like to see the MB get the LED display, but I wonder when the next update would be.

Well, the way the MB is now, I'd probably actually go for the XPS, assuming the OS doesn't matter to you.

The XPS certainly offers a nice range of choices, from LED screen to 200GB/7200RPM drive to the SSD. I wonder what material it's made out of?

It's *quite* expensive though. I just configured the way I'd want the XPS if I were going to buy it, and it came out to be $4000!!!
