    hey all!

    i have microsoft office 2004 student edition.

    i need to know two things, one where is the text alignment button? i want to center my text.

    the other question, where is the line spacing button/ feature. i need to space my lines and a half and cant find it.

    before people say it i have looked believe you me i have searched

    just wondered if anyone could shed some light

    To center text just look for the formatting pallet button which resembles an "A" in the toolbar closer to the help menu on the menu bar. Click the "A" and the pallet will open up then choose alignment.

    For line spacing, from the menu bar choose "Format-Style" then make your selections from there.

    Here is a screen cap of what you are looking for. The formatting pallet contains most things. If it isn't on, turn it under under the view menu.

    also to center text, the shortcut is apple+e
    and line spacing is apple+1,2,3,or 5 (i think 5 is for 1.5 line spacing).

    Yeah, most of the familiar functions are in the formatting pallets.

    Personally, I preferred a taskbar across, like in Office for Windows, but that's me :p.
