    new macbook pro noise

    ive been reading alot of the same thing that the i5 version is loud. louder then the 2010 version and louder then some of the 15 inch versions from the same time period.

    Ive read even at idle its quite loud and when it ramps up its just downright ridiculous. so for those that own it can you comment on this at all. did i run into a bunch of bad reviews or is it really as loud as they say.

    Hi - I just came home with the 13" i5 MBP and I do not notice any noise at all.

    I compared several today in the Apple store and did not notice anything noisy.

    It's uncommon indeed. Lots of my colleagues have mbp and I've never heard the noise or complain about them.
