    new iMac thin as a Notebook

    at 2 inches thick this new iMac unveiled by Apple today is as thin as some of the thicker notebooks on the market.

    checkout the side view, it looks like a PowerBook suspened on an arm. And if you take off that arm, the product looks dangerously like a Tablet PC if you were to have touch screen...hmmmm.

    I have been wondering why nobody had made their computers like this already. It seems like that huge and unnecessary box on the floor has been pointless for years now, but there have been few alternatives.

    Because there is no upgradability to the machine...I think it would be great if you could just upgrade the graphics card, ala newer Dell notebooks....obviously, you can upgrade the mem and HD, but I believe that the CPU is soldered on...for the basic home user that upgrades every couple years, however, the machine is great...regardless, with an Edu discount, the machine is a steal!

    Thats what I call a super sleek, space saving machine. Yea too bad upgrading ain't gonna be fun, but still its damn sweet [ :D]
