Does anyone know the specs of the panel used in the new MBP's or could someone who has one tell me the model of the panel they have so I can look them up? thanks.

    the LG Panel, model LP154WP2-TLA1
    16ms response time
    500:1 contrast ratio
    300 cd/m2 brightness
    45% color gamut
    120 degrees visibility angle
    110 ppi pixel density.

It seems that many of the Samsung panels have a yellow tinting defect. I couldn't find the model number or specs for this panel though. Anyway, I'm going to bed

I wonder if Apple would be willing to do the same thing as Lenovo with their screens - i.e. let us return the MBP w/ a Samsung screen because we're "not satisfied" with it and exchange the screen for a LG one :p
