Apple today refreshed their iBook lineup, here's a brief rundown from CNet.com on what's new and what's dropped in price:

God, this has been all over the news, and makes me want to buy it all the more. Anyone get their hands on one yet? I'm sure they're basically the same, and my favorite point is that wireless in now bundled. I'm sure the 200mhz extra helps, but it's not a big deal. 40GB standard HDD would've been better, but I don't mind using an external one rather than to pay for the markup.

I recently ordered a dell 8600 and was going to send it back if Apple came out with something impressive. Needless to say, I'm keeping the 8600. The iBook's only shortcoming, in my eyes, was and continues to be its graphics card. I was so excited about the prospect of a new iBook...but whoa was I upset! 200mhz jump? wtf!? Where's the 64mb video card? I was PRAYING for a radeon 9600...although I would have settled for a 64mb 9200...damn Apple. *sigH* for those interested in an iBook...the old version can be had for $840 (no tax) at amazon.
