    Hi, all,
I just bought a MBA 11, it looks amazing besdie the screen

I don't know what exactly the problem is, but I feel it's painful to look at the screen, guess it's too dazzling. It's really uncomfortable. ( I also have ipad but no problem with it)

I tried to change the screen contrast, brightness, etc.. but I don't know which one I should change, so it's still uncomfortable

if anyone knows how to make the screen more soft or comfortable, please let me know

    thanks in advance

Hmmm, maybe the resolution is too high for your eyes. I can't remember how to adjust the font size (I sold my MBP a while ago). Maybe see if you can adjust to it and if not, change the resolution/font size.

Go to System Preferences/Displays/Color and pick the 3rd choice(see below):

Well if that's the case you can adjust the DPI in Windows 7. I believe you right click on the desktop and then pick personalize and it should be on the left side. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though lol I'm using OS X right now and I'm a bit too lazy to switch to windows 7.

You can do the same thing in Windows in the advanced section of your Display Properties... right click on your desktop, select Nvidia settings and then Adjust Colors...however you may have to setup a profile manually

I don't think DPI is the problem he is referring to... I think what he is saying is that the display is too "lively"...

In Windows 7, right click on the screen and select screen resolution. When it comes up, there should be an option to make text and other items bigger.
