    need help with my macbook

    i put in the new hdd, now i put in the disc, now it says "select a destination". i dont see my new hdd there or option button not there. i went to disk utility then i see my hdd there, i went to partition then verify GUID then i tried to name volume but i cant type there now what is wrong?

    i sent you another PM explaining the steps more clearly, it is most likely that you have not actually selected a Partition layout, under the "Volume Scheme:" section in bold.

    ya thnx it is now shckieng for something, lol see the current? im supposed to go to partition 1 then i was able to name it.
