I couldn't resist sharing this. I bought a 24" monitor yesterday (Benq) and it is wonderful, I don't know how I managed to live so long without one :D

Awesome setup! I have something like this at work and I can't speak positively enough enough about the difference it makes to have the extended workspace. And the 24" monitor you have looks sweet!

550 Euros, which seems pretty good value for a monitor with DVI input :) and a lot cheaper than the Cinema Display. Still looks cool though

    Nice.

I've got Dual 20 inchers at work, and I use all of the space. I almost need a third, but that'd mean like a whole minute to move the cursor from the far left to the far right...

I wish I could use two monitors with my MBP, but alas only one output. Unfortunately I can't do like you did because of limited desk space, so my MBP is closed and sitting above my monitor(17" square). I'll be upgrading to a 19 or 20 something wide screen soon though.

    Looks good:yes:

Just last week I finally convinced my boss that it was time for some computer upgrades at work and we all got dual 22" LCDs :D Quite an upgrade from our old 19" CRTs.

Welcome to the world of dual monitor setups : D

    But theres also a downside : <

In tiger, you cant get the titlebar in the second monitor, so if you wanna work on a program that you use it a lot, you have to clone your display.
Unless you go and use third party programs, that puts in a context menu(Though I never bother)

But when I leave my monitor, I always feel like im missing something ;p

Yes I have noticed the menu bar thing... it's annoying e.g. when running a browser in the external monitor because you have to go across to the other screen to see your bookmarks...

that's an awesome setup you got there. I use a 20" external, SO nice and useful. I'd love to upgrade to a 24" (or even a 30" :D), but funds are lacking...

Hey man, I just discovered this is not true! Go to displays, then arrangement, then drag the menu bar from one monitor to the other like this:

oh lol, so you can have a menubar on one monitor of the two ;p

Anyone know how leopard deals with dual displays? Hopefully they fixed the menubar problem.
