    ms paint comparable mac program?

    is there a program for mac that can do the things microsoft paint can? I want to draw things on pictures with the "paintbrush" tool and things like that

    I wonder what the best free and native (i.e. not through X11) image manipulation program for OSX is though? Skitch is beta (and will cost once it's finalized). Gimp uses X11. Photoshop costs money of course.

    ToyViewer, Pixen and ImageWell seem to not have quite as many features.

    When i was using a Mac i ended up buying a paint program. I bought Corel Painter Essentials and i was happy with that. I know that some people use Abode Photoshop elements as well which is not that expensive.
