How do I control what programs automatically open upon startup? I would like to have mail open as soon as I turn on my computer, but I don't know how. Thanks!

Hop into your "System Preferences" then choose "Accounts" from the System section. Select your account from the sidebar, and then "Login Items" on the tabbed section in the middle. From there you can add and remove programs with the "+" and "-" logos on the bottom of the box, and also choose which programs are hidden on launch!

    Enjoy!
