    hey guys, just wondering if the ram between the MBPs are interchangeable? as in can i cram my 8 gigs into a mbp13? from my mbp 15?

    if its the same ram, DDR3 etc., then yes you should be able to. what models are your 2 machines?

    It needs to have the same DDR interface (ie, DDR2, DDR3) as well as an equivalent or faster speed. As an example, DDR3 1066MHz can run at 800MHz (but not any lower).

    I think there are some older 2008 Unibody Macbooks, that can only use 6GB's of memory.

    tho, im still not sure even after googl'ing it, could any of the mbp13s be expanded up to 8gbs memory?

    The 2010 MBP 13 supports 8 gb, I installed it myself in mine and it runs fine.
