    mbp noise

    When im using my mbp and just surfing etc. my fans run at 2000. Can you hear a noise coming from your computer when the fans are running at 2000.
    I hear a hum from the right speaker area. It's not bad just curious if its normal

    Yes, there will be a slight noise. Nothing abnormal at all. No need for paranoia.

    Just play some music. Then your fans will be inaudible up to 4k. If you put on some earmuffs or earplugs, the fans are inaudible up to 6k :p

    I actually don't hear anything at 2k rpm myself, but that may be because my room is rarely so silent.

    btw, what's your avatar from safersephiroth? I assume that's not ff7 :p

    Well, there's a notebook can make absolutely no sound at all. As long as the computer is running, you will hear a very little hum from the fans.
