Can I hook up a 15" monitor and run dual screen with my macbook? I found someone giving away an old 15" iMac monitor (no idea of it's specs yet). But can I run it dual screen as more desktop space or game on the larger screen or watch a movie on it and browse the web on the other one?

The GMA 950 is more than capable of this.

Awesome. IF I can get the monitor being able to browse the web, chat etc will be nice to have a dual screen.

Any idea if I can play wow and run a browser at the same time on the other one with my specs?

you can run a browser at the same time
but in order to access it you would have to play WoW in windowed mode. In full screen mode it would not be possible for you to use both simultaneously without alt-tabbing out of the application.

And to clarify...you'll have that "problem" regardless of what GPU you purchase.

The GMA 950 is capable of running VGA at 2048x1536, and DVI at 1920x1200. Per port, so if you have two DVI ports you can run two monitors at 1920x1200. Or two 2048x1536 monitors over VGA.

Dual-link DVI is needed for higher than 1920x1200 resolutions over a digital monitor interface...which the GMA 950 does NOT support. So pretty much all LCDs under 27" are guaranteed to be no problem. Maybe even including SOME 27" LCDs.

    Don't go with a 30" LCD...it needs dual-link DVI.

Cool thanks for the info. It looks like this deal fell through, but I'm going to check craigslist.
