I'm looking at possible new memory come Monday as well. I see the info on the mac says I have 2 512sticks in there right now. Can it use 2 or 4 GB of RAM?

I'm 100% sure this should work as newegg.com says it will and it's 2 equal sticks.
    PNY 2GB (2 x 1GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Laptop Memory Model MN2048KD2-667 - Retail

I could also afford a single 2GB stick
    2048MB MEMORY PC5400 DDR2 667MHZ 256X64 2GB 200 PIN SODIMM. LIFETIME WARRANTY MSODD2-667-256X64

Even if I can un 4GB. Will the macbook let me run 2.5GB? I could get this single 2GB stick and run it with one of the 500MB sticks that is already in it.
