The same way you would if you weren't running it with BootCamp.

Press The PrtSc (PrintScreen) button. Then paste the image (Ctrl+V or Edit > Paste) in Paint, Word, etc.

I tried the keyboard shortcut (Fn + F11) to do a scree capture doesn't seem to work on my MBP... is that shortcut only for MB's?

Edit: Forgot to mention that I'm running Vista.

That is the Built-in Mac Keyboard shortcut for Print Screen in all versions of Windows in Boot Camp and all MacBooks and MacBook Pros. Other Intel-based Macs have external keyboards and Print Screen with an external Apple keyboard is F14.

So Fn + F1 is not working in Windows, or is it? Let me just say that Print Screen is not the same thing as a Screen Shot (in OS X).

In OS X when you take a Screen Shot, an actual image (PNG) is saved to the desktop. Note: You can see all the different keyboard shortcuts for Screen Shots in System Preferences --> Keyboard & Mouse --> Keyboard Shortcuts.

Print Screen in Windows does not save a nice image file for you. The Print Screen Command (Fn + F11) only copies the image to the Clipboard. You then need to Paste the image into another Program. Paint is one option. Once in Paint you can trim the image, do minor editing and then Save As into various formats (PNG, JPG, BMP, GIF, etc.).

If that still does not work your keyboard settings are probably configured differently. In that case try pressing only F11 for Print Screen and then Paste into Paint. You can also change your keyboard settings in Windows. If you're using Boot Camp Beta v1.4 go to Control Panel --> Boot Camp --> Keyboard. There is a check box to "Use all F1, F2, etc keys as standard function keys."

Ok. After much searching, and no luck:

    MacBook Pro running Vista only.

    Print Screen is:
    Fn+Shift+F11

I just pressed different combinations of buttons and got it to work!

    :D

if all else fails, you can go to accessibility, in accesories, and turn on the on screen keyboard, blamo, printscreen button.

if anyone of you is having trouble taking print screen in windows, then try these

    1) take print screen of the whole desktop
    - open up on-screen keyboard
-click prtsc key on the popup keyboard

    2) take print screen of a specific program or windows, ie, no taskbar..etc
    - open up on-screen keyboard
-click alt then click prtsc on the popup keyboard.

For those who don't know where the popup keyboard is, it's in the accessibility section. Consider yourself handicapped. LOL

Actually, on a MacBook Pro, the correct key combination is Fn-Shift-F11. Just using Fn-F11 doesn't work because of the mapping to sound.

Fn-Shift-F11 works great though within Bootcamp using Windows XP SP 3.
