    macbook pro delivery

    my new mbp is coming next wednesday but nody can be home so i can sign for it with ups. any idea what i can do??
    otherwise, il guessing they will send it back or something :(

    If it's home delivery, they will leave a door tag with several options:
    1) sign the tag and they will leave it by the door (not recommended for something so valuable)
    2) it will indicate a time/day for 2nd delivery attempt for you to be home, usually the next day
    3) you can usually go to the local UPS depot and pick up the package yourself that night after 5 or 6 pm (the ticket will indicate a time)

    if its from the Apple store they have a link on your order page to print out a release form you can sign and put on your door so that they'll leave your package without anyone being there. Only do this if its a safe area to leave things without it being stolen... I've used it a number of times, but I live in an extremely safe area.

    If you have nice neighbors, leave a note on the door for UPS to deliver there and have them sing it.
