ive read that the health shouldnt drop below like 95 for a good while but mine is now at 93% after 52 cycles, is this normal or is something wrong with mine?

No, its most likely just the battery health indicator not being accurate, and they aren't. I wouldn't worry about it. And of course, have you calibrated the battery?

No, shouldn't be often...say once every 30 cycles or so.

Even if it stays the same battery health, I wouldn't worry about it. Battery health indicators are not perfectly accurate. As long as its not significant, like under 90% health after calibration and you've only had it for a few months, then I wouldn't bother worrying about it.

Makes you wonder whether I should be worrying since my battery health fluctuates everywhere from under 50% to 93% every time I charge the thing. I guess I'll have to find some time to do a full drain and calibration.

lol sam now you made me scared, i knew my health was bad cause i have it plugged in allt he time. but after 93 charges its at 87% :s dropped 3% when i wasnt looking.

Weird thing is last time I tried to calibrate it, it actually went down 1% instead of going up.

Yeah, calibrating doesn't mean it 'fixes it', it means it makes it more accurate. But don't worry about it, its not too bad. Like when I calibrated my MacBook after a month's usage, my battery health went to 96%. A week later, it suddenly went back to 100%.

If you're really worried, take it into an Apple Store and see if you can get a replacement. But I'd say its not that bad.

Mine is currently at 55 charge cycles, 99% health. Pretty good health. :)
5200 mAh was the original battery capacity, and I'm currently at 5168 mAh.

It's a good idea to calibrate. I personally calibrate once every 2-3 months, despite the charge cycle count.
According to Apple, it says, "...you should perform this procedure when you first use your computer and then every few months thereafter."

However, like Sam said, I'm pretty sure it's just the battery health indicator not being accurate.
