my macbook loads but i cant click on anything. i held down shift and went into safe mode and it does the same thing.. it seems there is a program that is hung from the startup.. i have went thru a bunch of things to try but someone told me I could try using unix commands change the startup and remove items and then see if i can get it to boot correctly. can anyone give me some tips on how to do this.. i held command + s and got into the unix command line.. but thats as far as i can get before it gets confusing.. any help greatly appreaciated.. need to get this fixed before the weekend.. thanks..

i figured it out after much research.. the trackpad is messed up.. i got it to boot once with a usb mouse hooked up which i did before and this time was able to click on stuff.. uninstalled a few programs from startup.. etc.. but as soon as i clicked the trackpad it messed up again.. i rebooted.. usb mouse was working.. tried it again.. touched trackpad.. again locked out of clicking on either trackpad or mouse.. gonna see if its under warranty.. a lot of people having same issue.. i just thought was software issue not hardware.. thx guys
