has anyone ever tried anything like this?

    http://macessity.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=29781

its a keyboard guard that supposedly protects against dirt, dust, and oil, from getting on your macbook keyboard.

Does anyone know is this may prove as more of an obstacle for heat to escape from the macbook? Where does all the heat in the macbook dissipate from anyway.

    Thanks!!

Well, the heat from the MacBook does not dissipate through the keyboard...no part of the keyboard and palmrest of my MacBook is not warm at all for me.

So I don't expect any blocking of heat dissipation from this :). Also, I moved this to the Apple forum, it fits better there, thanks!
