    i got a used mac ibook g4 and it starts to load mac os X and shows blue indicator line.. it gets to the end but stays there forever. any ideas.. i got the os X install disc.. i tried that but it errors.. any help greatly appreciated

    Boot from the disk, and then format the drive to Mac OS X Journaled, then try to install and see what happens.

    Try replacing the ram also.
