If your going to get a White Macbook, theres no reason whatsoever to spend more than $974 (or less, if possible). I believe MacMall has that deal going on or something similar. Drop in your own 200gb 7200 rpm drive, and 4gb ram, and you'll never know the difference between the 0.2 ghz. The only 2.2 purchase you should be considering is if you must have the Black.

Depends what you're looking for...if you're getting the 2.2 GHz for the extra .2 GHz, I'd tell you to just get the 2.0 GHz model. But if you need or want the SuperDrive, then get the 2.2 GHz :).

And if you can afford it, upgrade to 2 GB RAM. You can get RAM cheap from places like Newegg.com, and its easy to install on the MacBook.

And while you're waiting, might want to check out these guides to get you familiar with Macs! :)

In that case, I think you're good with the base model MacBook :).

enjoy the new machine, i highly doubt you will regret it.

It is cool to see so many people embracing Apple for so many different reasons.

Not to mention it is amazing to see a large American Corporation that still has some class, style, and willingness to keep innovating. People can recognize that and I think that is some of the reason Apple has started to re-emerge.

Even people that completely know there way around a Windows PC and don't have any issues with them are recognizing it, it is not about loyalty to a brand, it is just about usability and style at this point.
