ive noticed recently when the cord moves somewhat, the light goes off, when i keep fidgeting with the cord, the light goes back on.

it still charges the whole time. thoughts?

i already have to take my 13" in because the hinge makes weird cracking noises when I move it. I think the plastic bezel is warped or something.

this machine is only a few months old, argh!!!!

i wanna get it all straightened out though before i go abroad with it to europe.

i took it in already for the hinge and the guy said he tightened it up and couldnt reproduce the issue... i definitely can although it's sometimes and not others.

just a pain taking it into the genius bar and on top of it, i have optibay so when i took it in before i put the superdrive back, looks like ill have to do that again.

Before you take it in check out Apple's support site for the connector. If you are using it on a bed you may just be moving it just enough to turn off the light. As for the hinge cracking, I'd say the more you take it apart and put it back together the greater your chances of messing something else up. Even more so if you put in a part that doesn't fit the same as the one you take out (superdrive held by electrical tape). Perhaps that is the reason Apple can't reproduce the noise. Good luck.

Nah I can reproduce the noise even without optibay in there.
