    ok, went to start in safe mode and the keyoard didnt work.

    wasnt expecting that. the keyboard requires a driver ? or was this something else

    btw it never had a problem before and after I went back to normal mode it still worked fine. just in safe mode the keyboard didnt work.

    It can use a specific driver if it s an external wireless or bluetooth keyboard...
    Other than that yes there is a driver used by windows to make the internal keyboard fonctionnal, but it is not a driver that is supposed to be disabled at safe mode. You should enabled the boot log and check if that driver isn t lunched in safe mode.
