    iChat might work?

A lot of my co-workers on PC AIM have lil' camera icons next to their names, although, I've never tried to video chat with them.

Do not use Messenger:Mac. It's a total joke by Microsoft to take the piss out of Macs. Use Adium or aMSN, they're much better (although I'm not sure if Adium supports video - aMSN does support it, but it's not as user friendly as Adium).

there is also skype for video conferencing. adium doesn't do video yet, but is a really good messaging client.

ichat would be the best if your friends use aim. although there is a way to get msn to work through ichat using a jabber account.

Mercury Messenger is probably the best atm for Video Chat on MSN. Not perfect, but better than nothing. But for normal text chat, I stick with Adium.

If your friends have skype you could use that. The video on Skype is rather good.
