Got my first macbook (2.0 GHz) today. Dropped in 4 GB of OWC RAM and replaced the base HD with a Seagate 320 GB 7200 RPM drive. Used SuperDuper to clone the original drive. This computer was up and running (on the web) in about 10 minutes............... lol, I'm slow! Thanks for all the good threads on this forum.

I also ran xbench on the computer and the raw #'s look pretty good even beating many macbook pros listed on the xbench site. Here are the #'s for this machine.

    Congratulations on this purchase!

A very nice setup indeed - my next 'Book will have a 7200rpm drive, or SSD, for sure.

    Enjoy this beast!

Your wife should be very happy with this purchase. I really like the new design of the Macbooks, it looks a lot more sturdy than my previous Black Macbook was. As a fellow Mini fan I really hope the little guy gets some loving soon.
