There should be an app on it somewhere called System Profiler. That will tell you the specs of the hardware installed, as well as some other details.

Just as a word of warning, that iBook, especially with only Mac OS 9.2 (and not Mac OS X) is painfully out of date, and you will have a hard time finding much current software or support for it. Probably fine to play around with, but a major pain to do anything modern with.

If it has enough memory, you actually probably could install OS X on it; would probably be kind of slow, but at least it would be more modern.

Ahh, cool, an iBook G4 isn't so bad. Getting a copy of Tiger would definitely be good though; you'd notice some performance improvements, and some other perks as well compared to 10.2. The RAM may or may not be worth upgrading depending on how much it has right now and how much you can tolerate its current performance levels.
