    iTunes new column browser...

    Hi,

    Anyone else dislike the new column browser? In previous iTunes, the bar was accross the top; access to Genres, Artists, Albums.....

    Now, down the side (taking more space away from my collection views), and I have to go to a menu to select between the different options its lists.....

    Honestly Apple, why?? Its crappy, out of place and makes me scroll accross because before I actually had enough room to get all the info I needed on my screen (track, artist, album, track number).... now.... not so much!

    Just wondered that was all.....

    Woo hoo thanks for that, I had been looking thru preference's trying to find the setting to change it back... maybe the side view is ok a on 24" imac but my 13" mb screen is a bit small for that new layout.

    Ever since iTunes 9 and the 3.1.1 update for iPod Touch and iPhone, now on the device, in the App Store when I select Categories, there're all labelled the same (App Store) with the same generic icon. Anyone else experience this on their iPhones or Touches (with the 3.1.1 update of course)? :confused:

    Although the new itunes column browser can be viewed by going to the view drop down.... I cannot search a song. It always defaults to the regular store screen and I cannot choose the headings I want. I hope I am doing something wrong since I need have the songs listed by genre. And like I said, when I go to view..column browser, I cannot search by song title. Like I said, I hope I am doing something wrong!
