I need some help with getting iTunes to download a podcast. I subscribed to a podcast which worked fine. It downloaded the newest one and it is shown under podcasts.

I now want to manually download some of the older ones, but that is where the problem comes in. The price is FREE and I click on get episode. It shows that it is downloading. When it is finished downloading the file is no where to be found.

What am I doing wrong? I've tried downloading 5 of these and they all mysteriously vanish.

    odd.

have you manually searched for the file? Do other free podcasts work? And can you play the demo of the podcast?
