First off, I am running on a Macbook Pro in Bootcamp Vista Ultimate (been doing so for over a year now).

iTunes has been working just fine, but now with iTunes 7.7 all of the music shares in my household (I don't have a library on this system, I use the shared libraries from their computers) will disappear if I turn iTunes off and turn it back on. The same problem occurs when I restart my computer and turn iTunes back on. I have to have them manually restart iTunes on their own systems to fix it! *pulls hair out*

I have tried turning off my antivirus and windows firewall, I have also tried reinstalling iTunes. The shares show up the first time I start iTunes, but if it closes or I restart the computer, I have to manually restart iTunes on their computers to get the shares to show up again. A couple of times the shares actually stuck around for a few iTunes restart...but the problem is back.

Could this be an issue with the broadcasting computer and not my system?

I am thinking it may just be a bug with the new iTunes version. Send feedback to Apple about it so they can become aware of it and definitely get on fixing it. Also, did you update all the iTunes on all computers to the latest version?
