This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    iTunes and downloading TV shows

    Evenin',

    Does anyone know how to set iTunes up so that when I purchase a TV show, it only downloads the HD version, instead of both HD and SD? At the moment I'm running a 1mbit connection, it's crap but it's the fastest I can afford without it being ridiculously expensive (2mbit costs $250US/month, $50 for 1mbit).

    So yeah its a waste of time and bandwidth, and iTunes keeps reminding me of old downloads. Anyway to fix that?
