Alright my mom got an iPod. She had around 50 cds she wanted on it. So instead of uploading to her pc i did it to my Macbook Pro cause it would be much faster. My question is when she goes on her pc and her itunes and uploads music that is on the pc, will the stuff i put on that is on my itunes libary get deleted?

There's usually a dialog, saying that the iPod is connected to another library, and you can choose to "Erase and Sync", "Transfer Purchases", and "Cancel". Sorry if any of this info is incorrect, as that hasn't happened to me in more than a year. But if you're talking about your actual library, then no, it will not be deleted.

To be super safe, put the ipod in disk mode, and manually manage the music. This way the music won't get deleted, and the option to sync wont happen either. In the long run, it might be easier for your mum if you move the music files from your mbp to her pc.

There are ways of getting around the issue...
But yes, if it syncs with her library, yours will be deleted.
Switch the iPod into disk use, and change the settings to manually manage your files.
In the long run, it really might be better just letting her do it off the PC, rather than having to use your MacBook everytime she wants a new CD on it.
