how do i get the album art for songs in my playlist? Other than use the iTunes store.

can you use your own pics for the album art feature? if so how can you import them to iTunes?

    thanks!

I just drag the image into the box on the left. I usually use the images off Amazon since they're readily available.

Yeah, you just drag the album art to that box (you can also click on all the songs from an album and edit it, and drag album art to the box in the info window to add album art to multiple titles at the same time).

One thing, with the current version of iTunes, you don't need to actually buy anything from the iTunes store. You can just have it use the store to try and fill in whatever album art it can find; I've used that functionality and it's generally worked just fine, and saved me a fair amount of time.

I've had pretty terrible luck with iTunes album art finder. I can't even fathom how it gives me Neil Diamond covers for a KMDFM album...
It's lightyears behind compared to WMP as far as album art searches go. iTunes won't even let you do a manual search of the store for album info like WMP does.
But, everything else about iTunes I like better than WMP :-D

Yup, the iTunes album art search thing is absolutely crap. I usually just google image search the album and download an uber high resolution image of the album art and click drag it in.

There is a great widget called Amazon Album Art. Look in the the top 50 on Apple's widget page, it is in there.

I've tried that.. Personally thought it was easier just using Amazon from Safari.
