I have iStumbler and in the menu bar it says to connect to a wifi signal there is an up arrow, command, and the letter j.

If I hit up it scrolls up. I've tried them all together and that doesn't work either. How can you just automatically connect from iStumbler?

I've always wondering the same. :p

I use iStumbler to see how strong the wireless signal is and just connect regularly if necessary.

Select the network you wish to connect to in iStumbler and press Shift + Open-Apple (Command) + J. This is the keyboard shortcut in iStumbler for Join (AirPort --> Join).

You can go to join in the Menubar as said above. I only really use iStumbler to check info about networks though. Not to connect. For that I'll just use the Airport icon in the Menubar.

Shift + command + J doesn't seem to have it try to connect to other networks either.
