    iPod Touch Recovery DUI Mode?

    How do i get into Recovery/DUI Mode on my iPod Touch? I want to Jailbreak/Unlock it and the program needs me to do it. I dont know how and for sum odd reason Google.com is being blocked by my antivir. Ill figure it out. But anyway, anyone know how? Also what is the best program to jailbreak 2.1 that wont lock up the ipod like ZiPhone? Thanks :)

    *Turn on your iPod
    *Hold the power and home buttons down (the iPod will power off after 10 seconds, but keep holding those buttons down)
    *After the iPod powers off, release the power button (but keep holding the home button down)
    *After a couple more seconds, Windows will detect it. You should see a little “New hardware” popup in Windows. Now Release the Home button.

    Now iTunes will see it as a DFU Mode iPod and should ask you to automatically restore its firmware. Ignore this and continue to jailbreak.

    What you are reffering to is DFU Mode.
    Use QuickPwn 2.5 ZiPhone only does 1.1.4 and below.

    For future iPod Touch Questions/Problems refer to iPod Touch Fans. They have a forum and are fully geared to iPod touch/iPhone. I am a member there and it is excellent. NBR is for Computers. :)

    Yeh, iPodTouchfans is great. Ive been a member since last year, search me up, qaz333. Other sites; iModZone, Modmyifone.

    PM me if you need help on this stuff. Im 2.1 jailbroken, with 72 apps.
    Been jailbraking since the good old 1.1.1.

    Yeah, ive been to Modmyifone before also.

    I have 86 not inc. Stock Apps :cool: :p .some are from AppStore though. lol - i have more apps than music. I use about 7: Safari, mail, GpsPhone, NES, Real Soccer 09, VNC, and Flick Bowling. :D

    Occasianally, iMilk, iBeer, or iMunchies - lol.

    Oh yeh sorry about that. The new FW is jailbroken already. Use QuickPwn, its very quick and simple. Then go to iModZone, itll tell you how to do, ahem, you know. (cant say on the forums.)

    Real Soccer 09 is brilliant. Except for the AI, can be dumb sometimes. LOL, you can stand in fron of the keeper when he is clearing it and he will kick it off you.

    My fave app has to b Safari. About 700 of my posts have been off my iPod, 90% of the 700 are posted at school. :)
