This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just a quick question...The iPhone is being released here in the UK today, and in the advertisment email I just received from Apple it states the iPhone will be available at 6.02pm this evening. I was just wondering, why not 6.00pm?!

    Yeah, its marketing with respect to O2 carrying it :p. I remember thinking, "What? ..." for a second and then realizing the clever idea :p.
