okie. i bought a 20" imac with apple care. first impression is really good. be honest, having it at home is much better than looking them at store. I like the wireless keyboard a lot. Anyway...

I think there is mini output. does that mean I can use dual monitors? if so, what size does it support?

will they give me free Leopard? since i recently purchased it

when i upgrade to leopard, my settings and folders stay right? what about XP? (i dont have it yet, but I will use bootcamp)

I downloaded a program called fire, however, it does not support video chat... any solution?

I have .Mac and I setuped iDisk (the icon on my dkestop now) so what data will backup?

    thanks

Hey null, welcome to the Mac world! :p

Anyways, I don't know what you're talking about...best to ask an iMac owner, see if hldan will drop by this thread.

I believe Apple's official stance is anyone who purchased a Mac between October 1st and now will get a copy of Leopard for $10.

Yes, your settings and folders should not change when you upgrade to Leopard. Windows is on a separate partition, so it isn't affected.

I don't know what's Fire...the best video chatting program for Mac would be iChat and Skype, if you can use those, they're good. iChat only supports .Mac, AIM and Jabber accounts though.

As for iDisk, if you use the Backup application, it should back up whatever you want backed up...
