This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    iChat and google voice chat

    Hello guys,

    I've been a big fan of iChat especially if you are interacting with a Mac user then you can also share an application and it is faster [ faster than VNC ] and all great.

    I use Jabber for my gmail account and I see there is no way to do voice chat in iChat if the person does not use Mac. Is there a way to over come this hurdle?

    Any useful pointers would be much appreciated.
