Hello folks,
I am planning on purchasing a new 12" Mac notebook very soon. Mostly I plan to use the machine for video and audio editing and performance.
I can purchase a 1gig iBook with 768m of memory for close to $2000 Canadian.
For about $400 more, I can purchase a 1.33gig PowerBook, but with only 512m of memory. The PowerBook, however, comes with a 64m video card whereas the iBook has only a 32m card. (The PowerBook also comes with built-in wireless and bluetooth, neither of which I can envision myself using).
Is it worth it to shell out the extra cash for the PowerBook?
Thanks,
mx

Go for the PB Alu. cause you won't be sorry in the long run.
Especially if you are going on the video-tour.Therefore you need power and strong add-ons.And the Alu. PB got that all and memory can always be upgraded later on for a small amount of money.
iBook or Powerbook for video&audio
