    iBook G4 desktop problem

    Today I took my Apple iBook G4 to school. And when I got back the mouse pointer, while on my desktop it was the thinking animation and it wont change and i cant click anything on the desktop but I can click the aquadock and i cant click the file and other stuff on top... help??
