hello, i have two macbooks that i need to wipe and clean install snow leopard.

one is core2duo 2.16 and the other is 2.40 cpu speed.

i have been given snow leopard on a bootable usb drive, and holding the option key on bootup will give me the usb drive and allow me to install on the 2.40cpu but the other just does not see it. im no mac expert and was wondering if anyone can advise?

What you are doing appears to be a violation of OS X EULA. If this were the actual install media, which you purchased, there wouldn't be a problem of this nature.
