So i've noticed for about two weeks that when im carrying my macbook(when lid closed) i can FEEL the lid wobbling from the base. I've posted a thread on the forum with this concern about a week or so ago, and everybody said it was pretty normal. Well, i went to the Apple store and closed the lids and picked them up an they all seemed quite stable only moving a millimeter or so if at all ----- my MacBook actually WOBBLES moving 15-20MM apart from the base. The Genius at the Apple store told me to bring it in so he could tighten the screws. Before i do that, could someone tell me which screws he's talking bout? I see two screws on the side of the CD-ROM (right side of laptop), and i see two screws on the port side of the laptop (left side). What screws would tighten the LID to make it more stable when carrying around?
    Thanks
    Scott

The screws that attach the hinges to the base are internal. You have to remove the palmrest/keyboard assembly to get to them.

Here is a guide if you feel adventurous. If you have the correct screwdriver and keep track of where all the different screws go it isn't to bad. :D

Look at the guide on how to remove the upper case. After you remove that you can access the hinge screws. I would suggest that you let a Genius take a look at it. If they aren't busy it shouldn't take them very long and you're stress level won't get pegged out.
