    how to reinstall font?

    Hi guys..
    I ended up deleting the font set "Futura" from my mbp by mistake...
    is there anyway to get this font back?
    any help would be greatly appreciated ..

    Here, I uploaded my Futura.dfont file: Download Link. Just download and copy it to the Library --> Fonts directory.

    No problem ;). In case you delete other fonts...

    The only other way I know to recover a font that you've deleted is to use your OS X Install Disk. Some fonts are in Mac OS X Install Disk 1 --> System --> Library --> Fonts. Just copy/paste what you want to Library --> Fonts. And the rest are in Mac OS X Install Disk 1 --> System --> Installation --> Packages --> AdditionalFonts.pkg. AdditionalFonts.pkg is an installer so just double-click it and follow the on-screen instructions.

    Alternatively, you can completely reinstall OS X. But really, why waste the time for a font?

    Thanks a lot for the info xander... i was wondering whether there was any such way to get fonts from the installation disk ... i'll keep that in mind !
