Hi guys..
I ended up deleting the font set "Futura" from my mbp by mistake...
is there anyway to get this font back?
any help would be greatly appreciated ..

Here, I uploaded my Futura.dfont file: Download Link. Just download and copy it to the Library --> Fonts directory.

No problem . In case you delete other fonts...
The only other way I know to recover a font that you've deleted is to use your OS X Install Disk. Some fonts are in Mac OS X Install Disk 1 --> System --> Library --> Fonts. Just copy/paste what you want to Library --> Fonts. And the rest are in Mac OS X Install Disk 1 --> System --> Installation --> Packages --> AdditionalFonts.pkg. AdditionalFonts.pkg is an installer so just double-click it and follow the on-screen instructions.
Alternatively, you can completely reinstall OS X. But really, why waste the time for a font? -
Thanks a lot for the info xander... i was wondering whether there was any such way to get fonts from the installation disk ... i'll keep that in mind !
thanks for helping out Xander!
how to reinstall font?
