As long as you have a high speed internet connection already set up, all you need to get is a wireless router and set that up. The popular brands are netgear, linksys, dlink, buffalo, belkin etc. All those will serve you well. I would check out the networking section of these forums and see for yourself which routers are recommended by people and which are having problems.

I've heard its pretty good, but you might want to wait until apple release Time Capsule. With that you get a wireless router, along with an internal harddrive so that you can use time machine to backup over your network.

Though if you're looking for a new router, you should make sure that it has 802.11n as thats the fastest wireless out there right now.

Well, for every good review I read about the AEBS, I read about 3 negative reviews. I've held off getting one, as the Linksys WRT54GS I have at home is working exceptional. I want to get the AEBS due to the fact that I can connect a printer to it; hopefully with Time Capsule they have fixed some of the issues people have been reporting with the AEBS (unable to connect to HDD, wireless is flaky)

I have a linksys and it works pretty good. When you get far away, my sisters Toshiba laptop loses some connectivity, and my thinkpad gets no connection though.

I have a problem that relates to this topic, I normally use my macbook on wireless and one day I decided just to use the ethernet cable to see if I received faster speeds through downloading so I plugged it in and turned my airport off but it didn't connect to the internet? I plugged the same cable into my Asus notebook and it worked fine. Is there something I need to do to make it work?

Airport express is a "repeater" basically, and is normally used for wireless audio transfer. Most people set them up near their stereo, and have it so anything played through iTunes will be played through their sound system in the house.

However you can still use the Express as a normal router too, but you'll be limited to wireless only devices.
