    call apple

    or

go to your local apple website -> support -> on the right hand (you might need to scroll down first) side there should have been a tab called AppleCare. click "Register and View AppleCare Agreements" or under Services & Programs click "Check My Warranty and Repair Options" enter your serial number on the box.

i'm sorry... right now im using a browser that apple website cannot support so you might need to try either the Register or view applecare agreement or check warranty and repair option... if i remember correctly, both of those should provide the answer you need.
